VP of Pricing
Steering Point Executive Search has been exclusively retained by a global organisation specialising in financial services, leasing and related services for the executive search of three pivotal financial leadership positions. As part of a strategic initiative to streamline international operations and foster growth, we are excited to announce the establishment of their new centralised leasing and services office in Dublin.
One of these key roles is the VP of Pricing, a position integral to the development and execution of pricing strategies across our leasing and services businesses. This role is vital in optimising revenue and profitability, ensuring collaborative efforts across various functions, and positioning the organisation for sustainable growth.
- Develop and refine product-level pricing strategies, focusing on our leasing operations aligning with organisational goals and market conditions.
- Monitor and analyse competitors’ pricing in the leasing and services sectors to maintain competitive insights.
- Identify key pricing levers (segment, geography, industry, client type) to create differential pricing options for our leasing and services offerings.
- Oversee deal metrics and market data specific to leasing and service contracts, informing pricing model design and evolution.
- Define discounting options, thresholds, and qualification criteria for leasing clients.
- Enforce procedures for pricing and discount approvals in the leasing sector, ranging from self-service to CEO-level approvals.
- Lead the Pricing Decision Review Meeting (DRM) process and governance framework, focusing on leasing deals.
- Establish a structured feedback loop for insights from leasing clients and sales teams.
- Manage a team of Pricing Analysts, allocating resources effectively across leasing, services, and remarketing needs.
- Proven strategic and analytical capability demonstrated in multiple business settings, particularly in leasing and/or broader financial services.
- Deep analytical skills combined with strong general business acumen.
