Grangegorman Development Agency has exclusively retained Steering Point to lead the search for a Capital Projects Director

The Organisation

The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) is a statutory agency established in 2006 under the Grangegorman Development Agency Act 2005, tasked with one of Dublin’s largest urban regeneration projects in decades. The GDA’s mission is to transform Grangegorman into a vibrant community with a world-class, integrated, and inclusive education, health, and community campus.

To support this, the GDA is recruiting a Capital Projects Director.

This role involves leading complex, multi-stakeholder capital programmes across their full lifecycle—from project initiation through to construction and handover—while ensuring compliance with public sector frameworks and best practice.

The role sits within the senior leadership structure, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive team, and contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, sustainable urban quarter in Grangegorman.

  • Strong expertise in governance, procurement, contract management, and project controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification (Level 9+)
