Group Financial Controller

 Location: Dublin or Sligo (hybrid working)
 Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

An Irish organisation is seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across its group of companies, dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services. 

This is a newly established role, offering the opportunity to drive the financial strategy and ensure sustainable growth during an exciting phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial reporting and management across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic growth.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and financial reporting standards.
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement financial systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering development and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a financial leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing finances for a group of companies, ideally in healthcare or social care.
  • Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and compliance.
