Group Financial Controller
Location: Dublin or Sligo (hybrid working)
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
An Irish organisation is seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across its group of companies, dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
This is a newly established role, offering the opportunity to drive the financial strategy and ensure sustainable growth during an exciting phase of expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting and management across multiple subsidiaries.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic growth.
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and financial reporting standards.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement financial systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering development and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a financial leadership role.
- Proven experience managing finances for a group of companies, ideally in healthcare or social care.
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and compliance.
