Head of Sustainability (FMCG)

A leading producer and manufacturer, dedicated to providing high-quality products while embracing sustainable and environmentally responsible practices, is seeking a Head of Sustainability. As part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility, they need a leader who will integrate sustainability into their business operations.

The Head of Sustainability will develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to drive initiatives that reduce environmental impact and enhance the companys social responsibility profile.

In this role, you will lead the strategic development and execution of a holistic sustainability strategy aligned with business goals and values. Responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in sustainable practices, enhancing our sustainability roadmap, and crafting impactful sustainability messaging with Brand and Marketing teams.
• Focus on environmental impact by improving resource efficiency, waste reduction, and emissions reduction.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure sustainable sourcing practices and ethical supply chain management, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster employee engagement in sustainability initiatives.

With a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field, and proven experience in developing sustainability strategies within the food or agricultural industry, you will represent the company in sustainability-related forums and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
