Group Financial Controller

Our client, a premier healthcare service provider with state-of-the-art medical facilities and a team of committed professionals, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their executive team as a key member.

As Group Financial Controller you will lead and manage the finance and administrative structure across the Group. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will serve as both a thought partner for long-term strategy and a day-to-day manager, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation.

The responsibilities of this position include overseeing the daily management of the Finance Team for all businesses and maintaining the associated controls environment. Duties encompass managing and reporting on financial affairs, business planning, review and support, treasury, tax planning, investor relations, audit, regulatory reporting, and procurement.

Desirable applicants will have a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent. They will have extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role within a dynamic organisation, with a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance is essential, along with the demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

You will possess excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to influence at all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills are also required.
